RESORT OVERVIEW

Just a five-minute walk from historic Ocho Rios, Sunset Jamaica Grande is a self-contained beachfront resort located along the breathtaking coastline of Jamaica, near natural waterfalls, fern-covered cliffs and white water rafting.

This long time favourite resort has been embraced by Sunset as it's latest addition to their line-up. Restaurants have been upgraded, a new entertainment area built, the pool deck area expanded, and a new beach bar, grill and wedding gazebo added. The resort's new water park features a lighthouse with two water slides that "shoot" guests out into the Caribbean or into a swimming pool.
Due to it's prime location right in the centre of the resort district of "Ochi", gorgeous white sand beach and broad market appeal, couples, families and singles alike are drawn to the 4 star All-Inclusive Grande.
The staff here are friendly and the atmosphere is lively. This property has a new spa with NRG2GO classes complementing their programs. Non-motorized watersports are available as with all Sunset hotels and evening entertainment includes wonderfully talented live reggae and calpyso bands and artists.

Resort is approximately 90 min's from Montego Bay airport. Transfers are resposibility of instructor. Shuttle bus is $25 USD/person/direction.

TEACHING SCHEDULE

Classes are Monday-Friday.
Sample schedule:

8:00 - 8:45amCardio Interval (studio)
11:00 - 11:45am Aqua Fitness (pool)
5:00 - 5:45pm Sunset Yoga Stretch (oceanfront gazebo or studio)

The studio has a hardwood floor and is fully equipped with steps, weights, large stability balls, bands, yoga mats and regular mats. The clients tend to prefer more of an invigorating class in the morning and then a stretched-base class in the evening. Instructor has the flexibility to adapt the schedule part way into the week based on clients feedback/preferences but this must be communicated to the Spa staff and the Entertainment Manager to avoid any miscommunications.
