DESTINATION MANZANILLO
- Manzanillo carries the title "Heavenly Paradise on the Mexican Pacific". Lush, tropical and full of greenery, it's one of Mexico's most fertile regions.
- This beautiful area is characterized by secluded bays and inlets, tranquil beaches, sweeping mountains and breathtaking sunsets.
- About a 45 minute drive from El Tamarindo Resort, named after the many fruit trees in its forests, Manzanillo is a charming city full of festive streets, friendly people, beautiful landscapes and outstanding tourist facilities. The city’s unique history combined with its modern-day side makes Manzanillo a one-of-a-kind destination for a variety of recreational activities like sport fishing, adventure tourism and strolling along the beach to sampling the delicious local cuisine.
- Approximately 45 min drive north of the Manzanillo International Airport or a scenic 4 hr drive along the coastline south of Puerto Vallarta. Note: transfers are included from Manzanillo Airport (not Puerto Vallarta).
- This area, known as the Costa Alegre ("happy coast") & the Costa Careyes ("coast of tortoise shells"), is popular for whale watching from December to May, tours search for the graceful humpback, gray and pilot whales that visit the area every winter and spring.

- Although upscale, this establishment can also be described as an intimate eco-resort due to it's natural setting with miles of walking trails, tropical fauna, animal and bird species plus several beaches to explore. El Tamarindo is situated on a picturesque bay offering exclusivity and tranquility. In addition to the water activities, there are marked eco-trails to hike where one will find botanical gardens, deer, a turtle hatchery and some amazing trees/plants.

- Dining is casual yet classic during the day and elegant at night. La Higuera Restaurant is located poolside featuring innovative, yet timeless items on a creative menu that best reflect the resort’s unique location.
- Bikes, kayaks, sunfish sail boat, hobby cats and snorkeling equipment are available for use at the beach. Jet skis available for additonal charge.

- Located just off the resort's private beach lies The Spa at El Tamarindo (treatments extra $), an environment dedicated to relaxation, healing and pampering of the body, mind and soul.

ACCOMMODATIONS
- Hotel room (not villa). It is a large hotel room with king size bed (2 double beds or 2 singles can be accommodated upon request). The room has a nice dresser, 2 night tables with lamps, air conditioning, TV, telephone, bathroom with shower, closet with bathrobe and slippers, safety deposit box. Coffee maker available in the foyer.
TEACHING SCHEDULE
- Approximately 2 hrs of teaching per day except for arrival and departure days held on grassy area overlooking beach.
